Daily Market Summary

BENTEK’s Daily Supply/Demand report pulls key data from our Energy Data Warehouse to give you a top level summary the entire natural gas market. The report’s Demand section provides regional totals from all delivery points on each interstate pipeline that are classified as demand points – power plants, local distribution companies, industrials, municipals, etc. The Supply section does the same for gathering systems, natural gas processing plants, producing fields, etc.

Using the Daily Supply/Demand report you can spot major market developments in imports/exports, storage, demand and supply. The numbers in this report come directly from pipeline nominations and flow data. There is no modeling or approximation involved. Like our Market Model reports, the Supply/Demand summary report reflects only the flow data for points collected through BENport™ data collection services, and thus excludes volumes on certain intrastate pipelines and other facilities not subject to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) jurisdiction.
