GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR: August 27, 2008 Tropical Storm Gustav is projected to be in the Central Gulf offshore Louisiana as a hurricane by Monday morning (see storm track map bottom of p. 2). Significant production shut-ins should take place as a result of Gustav. However, production remains fairly steady today, as it has been for more than a week. A number of offshore pipelines, including those owned by Enbridge and Sonat, already have warned of potential force majueres because of the storm.
