BENTEK's Hub Flow Maps™ turn massive amounts of flow data, prices and basis differentials into an easy-to-understand perspective of U.S. gas markets.

What are the major changes in energy flows from yesterday to today? How is natural gas pipeline capacity being utilized? How are capacity constraints impacting price differentials? How is natural gas storage being used?

BENTEK’s EnVisuals® Hub Flow Maps allow you to quickly see daily changes in flow patterns, pricing, demand, storage and capacity throughout the United States in seconds. Using BENTEK’s proprietary, groundbreaking, flow-data-gathering technology, the Hub Flow Maps™ provide details of day-over-day activities before the markets open on the East Coast. The maps speed the understanding of flows and price differentials nationwide. You can also drill down at the hubs to show net of spread and how much gas is flowing in and out of each major market hub.
There are five maps that provide a fast and easy view of U.S. gas flows, prices, differentials and storage.

  • BENTEK's Hub Flow Maps indicate changes in energy flows and regional pricing. This map format gives you the ability to instantly visualize the receipts and deliveries of natural gas between the major gas hubs in North America and changes in price differentials between those hubs.
  • Pipeline Capacity Maps™ complement our Flow Maps by providing a visual representation of capacity and capacity utilization on each of the major pipeline corridors in North America. Total capacity is represented by a “pie” graph sized relative to the capacity on that corridor. The percentages of capacity utilized and unutilized are indicated by pieces of the pie.
  • BENTEK® monitors the injections and withdrawals of each storage facility in the U.S. that is attached to or associated with an interstate pipeline. In our Natural Gas Storage Maps, we use this data to show the storage capacity and utilization at each of these facilities where current inventory and capacity information can be determined.
Any data from these maps can downloaded into the Hub Flow Analyzer for detailed and historical analysis. Information can be exported in Excel files, and the charts can be saved as PDF files for use in your presentations. And, as always, BENTEK’s analysts are available to answer your questions.
